Dr. Schwartz offers eye care for the whole family. She recommends that children have their first eye exam at our office by age 3. As a developmental optometrist in Hartsdale, Dr. Schwartz is trained in the behavioral (functional) aspects of vision. She can diagnose and treat eye disease and test for clear binocular vision so that your children have the best advantage for peak school performance.

Dr. Schwartz is specially educated and trained to fit all types of contact lenses. Many people were told they could not wear contact lenses due to dry eyes or corneal irregularities such as kerataconus. At Hartsdale Family Eyecare we fit all types of contact lenses including scleral lenses, synergize hybrid lenses, bifocal lenses and Nova lenses.

Orthokeratology gently reshapes your eyes while you sleep. Dr. Schwartz is certified to fit various contact lenses for orthokerartology including paragon CRT and OK lenses. As part of her commitment to prevention of myopic development in children she combines visual hygiene, vision therapy and Orthokeratolgy to keep your child from becoming more nearsighted.

Dr. Schwartz has also been providing Vision Therapy for her patients since 1983. Our Vision Source Development Center helps children and adults with binocular vision problems and vision problems that can affect learning and sports.
